The good news is that there are lots of good fonts on the Internet provided for free, and more available commercially. The bad is that it is not easy to figure out which ones you can actually use. A handful, however (Merdane, Nasq, Tuz), do have these characters in place. Only these have the Persian characters. These skip over the non- Sindhi Arabic characters like the hamza carriers over and under alif, Arabic k and maqsura. That is so significant that these fonts can mostly only be used for unvocalized text. It is almost a very useful font. Unfortunately, it has many errors in combining Persian and other ajami characters: A p when joined turns into a tteheh (t with vertical dots), a ch into a dyeh, etc. That makes it only useful for the Arabic characers, which do not suffer from this error as far as I can see. It seems not to be composed of characters, but of discrete sub- shapes. As you type, this may look fine. But when you start editing, bits and pieces of the character may jump around, the dots below and above the character may change places, or the general layout of the line breaks up. Unfortunately, the nasta'liq layout breaks down in most programs, so it is not useful in Text. Edit, Nisus and similar programs.
